From The Crock Pot Cookbook
12-16 oz chicken
2 cups large-sliced carrots
1 large onion-sliced
1 cup large sliced celery with leaves
2 tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
½ cup chicken broth or water
½-1 tsp basil
Put half of veggies in the bottom of the crock-pot. Add chicken. Top with salt, pepper, liquid and remaining veggies. Sprinkle basil over top. Cook and cover until done.
Low heat: 7-10 hours
High heat: 2 ½ - 3 ½ hours with extra cup of water
