Zelia's pie crust

4 cups flour (scant)
1 ¾ cup shortening
1 tbsp sugar
2 tsp salt
1 tbsp vinegar
½ cup water
1 egg


Mix dry ingredients and cut in shortening. Beat vinegar, water, and egg together in separate bowl. Add egg mixture, and blend with fork until moistened. Mold into 4 balls and chill for 15 min.
